It’s Never Too Late to Start a Vlog on Youtube in 2025

I used to think starting a vlog felt kind of silly, like maybe I missed the right age or the right moment to do it. But here’s the truth: it’s not too late to start a YouTube Vlog in 2025.

Am I too old to start a Youtube Channel?

NO! You are never too old to start. Whether you’re 18 or 47, there’s no rulebook that says you can’t pick up a camera and start sharing your story. Nowadays, your smartphone is more than enough. People are looking for real, down-to-earth content more than ever. They are looking for stuff they can actually connect with. You don’t need a perfect lighting or a viral idea.

Just be yourself, stay consistent (THIS IS THE HARDEST PART OF MAKING A YOUTUBE VLOG), and have fun with it. If vlogging’s been on your mind, now’s a great time to stop overthinking and just go for it.

Be Motivated!

I’ve said this little speech to myself in the mirror more times that I can count, trying to hype myself up, trying to believe it. And one day, I finally did. I stopped worrying about what people might think, hit record, and gave it a shot. And honestly, starting was the hardest part, but also the best decision I made.

I started a vlog with my iPhone

I filmed my first vlog on my iPhone 14 Pro Max and I edited it using the free version of CapCut, which is super beginner-friendly and honestly all you need to get going.

The setting was Megève, on a winter Sunday, with local markets lining the streets and the vibe just too good to ignore. The video is mostly me walking through town, passing by vendors, soaking in the atmosphere. It wasn’t planned, just real. I figured, even if it didn’t turn into a full episode, at least I’d have a memory.

But that walk ended up becoming the first step, the pilot for my Youtube Channel. And that’s where it all began.

Megève, France is one of those places that feels like it’s straight out of a postcard. Tucked away in the French Alps, it’s a mix of cozy mountain vibes and cool village charm. In the winter, it’s all about skiing, snowboarding, and sipping hot chocolate by the fire. In the summer, you’ve got hiking trails, fresh mountain air, and stunning views everywhere you look. It’s not just for the rich and famous—anyone can enjoy the laid-back atmosphere, cute shops, and amazing local food. If you’re planning a trip to the Alps, Megève is definitely worth checking out.

Grow on YouTube in 2025

As of July 20th, Romanian Noypi Youtube Channel has 8 months and has grown to 2,700 Subscribers. I didn’t get there by chasing trends or trying to be someone I’m not. I found my audience, and that made all the difference. That’s the most important if you want to grow on Youtube: know who you’re talking to. The rest will follow. But I’ll dive more into that in the next blog post.

Until then, take care and if you’re thinking about starting, just start your Youtube Channel in 2025! You’ve got this!
