Welcome to my little corner of the internet. I’m really glad you’re here. I might be the one writing this, but the truth is, behind Romanian Noypi are two people: me, Stefanel, and Bianca, the Filipina sa Germany 😊

I like to joke that I’m a Romanian getting slowly Filipinized because since I moved to Germany in 2021, I’ve been surrounded my Filipinos.

I met Bianca not long after, and since then I connected with the strong and vibrant Filipino community here in Germany. And to our surprise, we’ve found that Romanians and Filipinos actually have a lot in common. Same love for food, laughter, family, and keeping things real.

Here, we share our everyday life, stories, travels and the little cultural mashups that happen when Eastern Europe meets Southeast Asia.
