Top 5 Must-Have DJI Osmo Pocket 3 Accessories in 2025

If you’re using the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 (or thinking about getting one), you already know how insanely good this tiny camera is. Smooth footage, great stabilisation, super portable. It’s basically made for vlogging on the go!

But to really get the most out of it in 2025, there are a few accessories that take it to the next level. After testing them out in real-life shooting situations, including some of the videos on our channel, I’ve put together a list of my top 5 must-haves.

1. Wide-Angle Lens Adapter

If you vlog selfie-style like we do, this one is a game changer. The standard field of view is a little tight when you’re holding the camera at arm’s length, especially if you want to show more background or include someone else in the shot.

A magnetic wide-angle lens pops right on and gives your frame that extra breathing room, perfect for travel shots, group scenes, or scenic walks through town.

This video is filmed mostly with the wide-angle adapter and you can see how it captures perfect the image.

2. Wireless Microphone Module

The built-in mic on the Pocket 3 is very good, but if you’re walking through a market or filming outdoors, wind and background noise can ruin the vibe.

We recommend the DJI Mic system. Is better if you purchase the Combo Creator Combo. The mic is included in the bundle. The sound quality boost is huge, and way more professional.

Here is an example of video we have filmed using just the iPhone 14 Pro Max, so without the DJI Mic system (you will see the difference).

3. Magnetic ND Filters

Lighting changes fast, especially when you’re filming outdoors. Having a set of ND filters helps control exposure, smooth out highlights, and make your shots look more cinematic. The Pocket 3 makes it easy with magnetic filters that snap right on.

We usually carry an ND8 and ND16, just enough to handle bright conditions without overcomplicating things.

4. Extension Rod/ Tribod Combo

This one’s underrated: a compact tripod that doubles as a selfie stick. It helps with framing, steady shots, or quick time-lapses when you’re out and about. Some versions even have built-in controls or Bluetooth buttons so you can record remotely. Great for solo creators who don’t want to carry a full tripod.

For example we are using the ones from Insta360 bundle. They are working perfect!

5. Carrying Case / Organizer

Trust me, once you have all these accessories, you’re going to want a way to keep them organized. A small, protective case with compartments for your Pocket 3, filters, mic, and charger keeps everything safe and ready to go. You’ll thank yourself later when you’re not digging through your backpack for a lens cap.

Honestly we are using the Round Mini Shoulder Bag from Uniqlo. We bought it when we were in Japan. We were walking around Tokyo and all the gadgets were safe inside the bag.

Final Thoughts

The DJI Osmo Pocket 3 is powerful straight out of the box, but these simple accessories can seriously level up your workflow, whether you’re filming your daily life or documenting your travels. Best part? Most of them are lightweight, budget-friendly, and super beginner-friendly.

If you’re just getting into vlogging in 2025, start simple, but don’t be afraid to upgrade smart.
